BLUEBERRIES                                                                                                                      

Being located around the corner from the blueberry capital of the world (Hammonton,NJ), we were better able to educate ourselves on the quality and production of all the different varieties available.  After extensive research and final evaluation, we have chosen what we consider to be the best blueberry plants on the market today.  We look forward to supplying our customers with quality blueberry plants at a low price.  All of our varieties are 3 yr old plants that range from 18 to 24 inches in length.  It is best to plant at least two varieties for cross pollination purposes.

VARIETIES AVAILABLE

Early Season Varieties

EARLIBLUE - Earliblue is a producer of firm, light blue, large berries with resistance to cracking. It has a mild sweet flavor and ripens uniformly.  This variety is popular with both commercial growers and home gardeners. The plants grow upright and have a good cold tolerance.

DUKE - Vigorous and high yielding, this early season variety has top quality, large, firm berries.  When researched, the Duke was considered one of the best varieties on the market.  Pleasantly adaptable to many areas.

PATRIOT - An excellent winter tolerant variety with extremely large berries.  A University of Maine release, this variety is high yielding and hardy.  Used for landscaping, this highbush variety makes Patriot a popular choice for home gardeners.

Mid Season Variety

BLUECROP - A midseason variety whose heavy yields and winter tolerance has made it the top variety used today. Large berries with a bright color hold their size throughout the season. A quality berry for freezing or eating fresh.

BLUERAY - Our newest addition produces very large, dark berries with an excellent flavor.  The Blueray is high yielding and vigorous.  Large, tight clusters allow for easy picking.

Late Season Varieties

COVILLE  - Extend your harvest with this late season variety. Very large, firm berries with a slightly tart taste make for an excellent dessert berry. Allow berries to fully ripen to improve the flavor.

JERSEY - The Jersey is known for its dark blue berries that are candy sweet with uniformly shaped bushes.  This variety is hardy and has consistently outperformed others in yields and vigor.  It has an excellent winter tolerance.
